The Work of a Lifetime

Félix is an 83-year-old farmer. He has been retired for some time, but he can't stop going to take care of his fields. He has been working in agriculture since he was old enough to help his father. Raised in a small village, Félix's life reflects the most important values of his generation: the importance of earning a living, family and simplicity. A generation that grew up during the post–Spanish Civil War period, with scarce resources, and who learned that in this life, everything must be earned through hard work and sacrifice.

This is a small tribute to a lifetime's work, to one of the oldest professions known to humankind, and to the root that allowed it to survive.
