I’m a documentary photographer and filmmaker. From an early age, I began experimenting with cameras and exploring photography and video, an interest that sparked a passion and eventually became my career. I studied Journalism and Audiovisual Communication in Madrid, where I worked as a video editor for several years. That experience taught me how to tell stories through images and editing, skills I now apply to my documentaries.
In 2022, I decided to leave everything behind to travel the world, capturing stories through my camera and making a life out of it. Or at least, that’s what I try to do.
My work focuses primarily on social, environmental, and cultural stories. I’m drawn to exploring and shedding light on complex realities, especially those involving inequality and injustice, whether they affect people, animals, or plants. My goal is to give a voice to the protagonists of the stories I tell, always with the utmost respect for their culture, traditions, and dignity.
Selected Projects & Publications
Surpassed 685,000 YouTube views with my documentary on Mexico’s Día de Muertos, a project that allowed me to deeply immerse myself in the country’s traditions and the cultural significance of this celebration.
Published twice in África Mundi, a digital media platform specialized in journalism on Africa, with a photo report on the floods in Tanzania and coverage of the premiere of my documentary The Shadow of the Baobab.
The Shadow of the Baobab, a documentary about discrimination and gender-based violence filmed in rural communities of different local ethnic groups, was officially selected and screened at the Bilbao International Invisible Film Festival.
